One gets life term for murder

Chhote Lal, accused of killing one Jokhu Lal on the suspicion that the deceased had illicit relations with his wife, gets life imprisonment .

The Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ), Allahabad has awarded life imprisonment to one Chhote Lal, accused of killing one Jokhu Lal on the suspicion that the deceased had illicit relations with his wife. The ASJ also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on him.

According to the prosecution story, Chote Lal, a resident of Baraipur village under Sarai Inayat police station, had suspicion that Jokhu Lal had illicit relations with his wife.

On July 24, 2004 Chote Lal killed Jokhu Lal while he was returning from his field.
