One killed, 19 injured in Assam bomb blast

One person was killed and 19 others were injured, three of them critically, when a bomb exploded on Monday at Haflong in Assam's North Cachar Hills district, police said.

A bomb kept near a mosque inside Haflong market exploded around 2 pm injuring 19 people, who were standing nearby.

Senior police and civil officials immediately rushed to the spot and the entire area was cordoned off.
