Order for posting of civil judges issued
THE ORDER for posting of civil judges (junior division)was issued through a notification of the Allahabad High Court here on Tuesday. The appointments were made following an examination conducted by the UP Public Service Commission in 2003. The letters for posting were being sent through speed post to the addresses mentioned in the appointment orders issued by the State Government.

Deputy registrar (Services) Allahabad High Court KK Ranjan, in a press release, said that the notification of postings was available on the website of the Allahabad High Court- www.allahabadhighcourt.in .
Following the examination, several candidates were selected for the posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division). Now, the process to post them at different districts of the State was initiated by the High Court, the release added.
Plea turned down: The district and session judge Ravindra Bhaskar has stayed an order by which the Chief Judicial Magistrate had directed the police to register a criminal case against Nagar Ayukta (Municipal Commissioner), Allahabad, in connection with an assault case. In an order, the judge made it clear that the order would have been effective if no FIR was lodged at the police station.
The judge, hearing a revision application challenging the order of CJM, issued notice to the opposite party and fixed July 13 as the next date of hearing.
An application, under section 156 (3) of the Criminal Procedure Code, was filed alleging that Nagar Ayukta, Allahabad had thrashed and assaulted the applicant.
Therefore, it was requested to direct the police to register a criminal case against Nagar Ayukta.
Hearing the application, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Allahabad, on May 27, directed the police to register a criminal case against and investigate the matter.
