Sources revealed that a majority of the daily wage employees are serving at residences of some influential officials of Vallabh Bhawan. The sources in Mantralaya told Hindustan Times that the proposal to regularise 43 daily wage employees has created flutter among other similar employees working in various departments.
Interestingly, a majority of the employees being regularised were recruited after 1988, the cut off date fixed by the State Government for removal of the daily wage employees. Presently, GAD is looking into the matter. Though all the posts have prior permission of the Finance department, certain provisions of MP Secretariat (class IV) Service Recruitment Rules 1987 are coming in the way.
