She alleged that LU administration is not doing justice to her and was forcibly relieved from duty without any proven charges. Mishra alleged that a few teachers are bent upon to remove her from the post.

Dr Mishra told this newspaper that on December 24 she received a letter from registrar stating that as per the directives of the V-C she was relieved from duty. She said that the letter was silent as to why such harsh action was being initiated against her. “And even if LU officials have decided to remove me then they must come out with some valid arguments to justify their decision. This is no way,” she said.

Varsity administration, however, said that they had not received the copy of the letter from the Raj Bhawan. Says Pro V-C RS Yadav: “We’re to receive the copy of letter.” But, registrar KN Pandey told this newspaper that a letter has been shot as per the order of the V-C stating that she has been relieved from the duty. He confirmed that Ritu Narang was given the responsibility. However, he refused to speak much on this issue.

Dr Mishra alleged: “The varsity administration never heard my version and took a decision to remove me from the post. On September some girls were forced to put their signature on a blank paper and later it was put forth before the officials declaring that these girls are not happy with my functioning. Later, the girls told me that it was all done forcibly.”

But chief provost AN Singh was of the view that committee comprising of him, BKPN Singh and Nishi Pandey has seen the documents and found quite a few irregularities. “They were grave in nature and the V-C has done the right thing by relieving her from duty,” he said and added that after seen those documents it was not required to hear her version. Mishra further accused that those who are at present monitoring the functioning of the hostel are misusing it by putting up guests over there. “Many of the girls inmates have complained me about this but LU officials have not bothered to look into the matter. They are going throwing through mental trauma and the officials are not taking any heed about the guests who are putting up there,” she said.

Refuting this allegation of putting up guests at Girls Management hostel Nishi Pandey said that these guests are those who are doing refresher and orientation course from UGC Academic Staff College.
