Over 200 Chinese kids fall ill after school lunch

Students of Dianshi Town High School began reporting symptoms of headache, stomachache and vomiting after they ate lunch at their school.

More than 200 children were taken ill after eating lunch at their school in China's Shaanxi province.

The 223 students were admitted to a hospital and are reportedly in a stable condition, an official said on Tuesday.

Students of Dianshi Town High School began reporting symptoms of headache, stomachache and vomiting after they ate lunch at their school Monday and were immediately hospitalised.

The food samples have been taken for testing by health officials.
