Addressing two rallies at Sonebhara and Chandauli districts on Tuesday, general secretary of the party, Satish Mishra, said that life in Uttar Pradesh had become hell after Samajwadi Party assumed power in the State three years back.
Mishra called upon the Brahmis in the State to strengthen the hands of the Bahujan Samaj Party led by Mayawati, who, he said, was determined to improve the lot of every section of the society, including Brahmins.
Lashing out at Mulayam Singh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party government, Mishra said this governmnet had nothing worthwhile to offer to the people. Instead, loots, dacoity, broad-day light killings, death and destruction had become order of the day everywhere in the State.
Earlier, due to heavy rains here and delayed arrival of Mishra at the venue, many people had already left without hearing the speech. On Monday, hundreds of Brahmins and advocates joined the BSP in presence of Mishra in Sonebhara district.
