"Both the teams are good and I hope that the players give their best in the series", More told reporters in Indore.

However, the absence of Pakistani pace spearhead Shoaib Akhtar will benefit the home team, he said adding, the series will be a tough one.

On non-inclusion of middle order batsman Mohd Kaif in the Indian team for the first Test to be played at Mohali from March 8, More said he would not like to comment on this.

Praising the senior players for taking part in the domestic matches, More said this will benefit and encourage the youngsters.

He also praised the performance of India medium pacer Ashish Nehra in the four-day Duleep Trophy match between North Zone and South Zone being played at Usharaje stadium in Indore.

"Nehra bowled well in the long spell by claiming four wickets on the batting-friendly wicket", More added.

On Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid not turning up for the match, More said that Kumble bowled a lot in the last Duleep Trophy match while Dravid is not playing due to stiffness.

Indian coach John Wright was also present along with More to watch the players' perform in view of the India-Pakistan series.
