So now, to reach the proctor?s office, one would have to pass through four gates?Bhaoras Deoras gate, this new one, gate number 1 near the cashier office and finally, the gate near proctor?s office.

So now, to reach the proctor’s office, one would have to pass through four gates—Bhaoras Deoras gate, this new one, gate number 1 near the cashier office and finally, the gate near proctor’s office.

The new gate caused immense problem on Monday to teachers and students who are facing difficulty to get on to the campus on their vehicles. Senior teachers alleged that security men misbehaved with them and did not let their vehicles in while student leaders were allowed to get on the campus with their vehicles.
The teachers alleged that the varsity had not specified timings when the gates would open and close, so they were facing problems in getting in their vehicles.
Girl students also rued that gatekeepers threw the gate wide open for the convenience of student leaders but did not give this privilege to them.
Teachers’ of one of the departments visited proctor’s office to register their protest against the alleged misbhevaiour of the gatekeeper and to apprise him of the inconvenience they were facing with new gates every now and then. The teachers’ of this department even threatened to stage dharna if problem was not addressed.
Memorandum to V-C: Students of the various management courses gave a memorandum to LU V-C RP Singh alleging that the month of September had begun, yet they were not being issued books from the libraries. They alleged varsity that had taken huge fees was least interested in providing infrastructure and other facilities to the management students.
About 40 management students alleged that some of the courses being taught to them were unique in nature. Some of the elements of their course were unique in nature for which there were no books available in the market. They also aired their grievances against non-availability of regular bus service from the Old Campus to New Campus.
