People fed up with parties: Prof Prasad
HEAD OF Department of Law of DDU Gorakhpur University and independent candidate for mayoral post Prof Anirudh Prasad said that he had filed his nomination papers to provide a better option to the people of the city who are frustrated with functioning of the political parties.
HEAD OF Department of Law of DDU Gorakhpur University and independent candidate for mayoral post Prof Anirudh Prasad said that he had filed his nomination papers to provide a better option to the people of the city who are frustrated with functioning of the political parties.
He said that ideology and political loyalty was flouted for the ticket, which had caused serious resentment among the devoted party workers. Prof Prasad said Anju Chaudhary who was SP candidate for mayoral post in last municipal corporation election defected SP and BJP honoured her with ticket, which is an insult of the devoted party workers.
President of University Teachers’ Association Prof Chitranjan Mishra and Prof Ashok Saxena had accompanied Prof Anirudh Prasad while he was filing his nomination papers. They expressed hope that people of the city would reject all the political parties candidates and would extend their support to independent candidate Prof Prasad in this election.
