Addressing an election meeting at Marthandam near Nagercoil, he said the people were fed up with the Congress and BJP. The Congress-led UPA at the Centre failed to implement any developmental schemes during its term, he claimed.

Though several American banks collapsed during the economic crisis not even a single bank collapsed in India, since the Communist party did not allow India to follow the US policies, he added.

Raja, National Secretary of the CPI party, while addressing the election meeting last night, alleged that the Congress has failed to implement any developmental schemes announced by them.

The Third Front would decide the next Prime Minister after the elections, he added.
