Addressing an election meeting at Marthandam near Nagercoil, he said the people were fed up with the Congress and BJP. The Congress-led UPA at the Centre failed to implement any developmental schemes during its term, he claimed.
Though several American banks collapsed during the economic crisis not even a single bank collapsed in India, since the Communist party did not allow India to follow the US policies, he added.
