Pirated, porn CD racket busted
SHAHGANJ POLICE on Tuesday arrested two persons and claimed to have busted an inter-district racket of pirated and porn CDs.The cops recovered more than 20,000 CDs from the shop of the accused. Cops informed that they were made aware of the fact that a huge racket of porn and pirated CDs was functioning from a shop located in the Vaishno Electronics Market under Shahganj police station for the past quite some time.

The cops recovered more than 20,000 CDs from the shop of the accused.
Cops informed that they were made aware of the fact that a huge racket of porn and pirated CDs was functioning from a shop located in the Vaishno Electronics Market under Shahganj police station for the past quite some time.
Following the tip-off, the cops raided the shop by forming a special team and managed to nab both the accused from the shop and also recovered the huge catche of porn and pirated CDs.
The police have identified the arrested shopkeepers as Vikram Rathore, a resident of Shahganj and Babloo Sahu, a resident of Kydganj.
On being contacted SO Shahganj DK Upadhyaya said that the success was the result of reliable information received by his team.
"We are keeping a tight look-out for others involved in running similar rackets in the area and are determined to take strict action against them too in the coming days," the SO added.
