A police officer said the youth told them that he was kidnapped as he refused to provided three persons — including Shakeel Mansuri and Kamaluddin — with SIM cards without ID proof.”

The youth has told the police that his kidnappers made him unconscious and brought him to Agra and, during his confinement in the city, he heard these people contemplating blasts inside the Taj Mahal and discussing their role in the recent Jaipur and Ajmer blasts.

Gangwar told the police he somehow fled from their clutches on Sunday.

However, a senior ATS official told HT, “We are verifying his statements. We have reports that Abhay is not of sound mental health.”
