The diva apologises to her fans from Australia for having dropped the country from her Confession Tour.

Madonna has apologised to her Australian fans after she dropped the country from her Confession tour so she can take her children to school instead.

According to Contactmusic.com, Madonna's children were disappointed since they were looking forward to seeing special wildlife in Australia.

Madonna had last performed in Australia in 1993 and got many requests from fans who desperately want her to perform there again. But Madonna is adamant that her children's education is more important than her career and she will not have the children away from school for so long.

She said: "Please forgive me. Unfortunately, the logistics just didn't work out this time around. You remain in my heart."
