A one-day workshop has been organised for the BJP parliamentary party in association with Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, an RSS-affiliated training institute.

“Garib Kalyan Yojanaye, their effective implementation and the role of an MP is the theme of the workshop,” BJP’s parliamentary party office secretary Balasubrahmanyam Kamarsu said.

While Modi will inaugurate the workshop, party president Amit Shah will address the concluding session.

“Senior ministers will guide and motivate the BJP MPs for effective implementation of various centrally sponsored schemes,” Kamarsu said.

The efforts come against the backdrop of a realisation in the ruling party that its image has taken a hit on the land bill following a misinformation campaign. The party also felt a need to arm its MPs with facts to fight the perception battle.
