The branch was inaugurated by Mohammed Latif Mir, deputy general manager, circle head, Jammu and Kashmir operations who was accompanied by Vijaypur block development officer CL Gandhi.

Speaking on the occasion, Mir said the area of Vijaypur was a hub of business activities catering to the whole of the district and other part of the state. The focus of the branch will be to provide credit facilities through its various schemes to the people as per their requirements, he added.

He informed the gathering that the newly opened branch will provide customer-friendly services like ATM cum debit card; anytime, anywhere banking and net banking to its customers.

Mir said, "The bank has an impressive network of banking outlets with 97 branches and 107 ATMs in rural, semi-urban and urban areas of the state."

CL Gandhi appreciated the bank management for bringing the banking facility at their doorsteps, adding that the branch will be of great help to the people who intend to avail credit facility.
