Acting on a tip-off, police recovered the IEDs, each weighing 10 kg from near the road in Pataria Chatak village of Latehar district, SP Hemant Toppo said, adding that both the explosives were defused immediately.
Latehar, which comes under Palamau Lok Sabha constituency, is going to polls on April 16.
Sunday's recovery comes close on the heels of discovering six powerful IEDs from an area in Khunti constituency on Saturday.
