Police on lookout for 'world peace lover'

Police are on the lookout for a self-styled 'world peace lover', who has stirred protests among animal lovers by distributing pamphlets stating that he would sacrifice 25 dogs, praying for world peace.

Police are on the lookout for a self-styled 'world peace lover', who has stirred protests among animal lovers by distributing pamphlets stating that he would sacrifice 25 dogs, praying for world peace.

The unidentified person had distributed phamplets stating that on June 22, twenty five dogs would be sacrificed at a temple in Koramangala, a posh locality, police said.

Some animal lovers, shocked over the proposed act of cruelty on animals, not only lodged a police complaint dem the temple premises on that day,but could not spot anyone or the dogs that were to be sacrificed.

Police said no one has been arrested in connection with the incident so far.
