In a hurriedly called press conference at his residence on Sunday morning, the CM termed the death of the Aaj Tak journalist as unfortunate and said he would write to the Special Investigation Team constituted by the high court to probe Akshay Singh's death.

When asked why he didn't respond to the common man's voice for a CBI probe, Chouhan said people had their faith in his government and it would be proved in the coming elections too.
