“Not only Delhi’s treasures, but Delhi’s ‘Dil’ (heart) is always for the people of Kashmir”, Modi said about his package that will cover relief for 2014 flood victims, farmers, businessmen, tourism, youth employment and infrastructure in the state.
National Conference leader Omar Abdullah rejected Modi’s speech, saying he had made a “mistake”. The former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister tweeted: “PM Modi has made the same mistake of weighing the Kashmir issue in rupees and paise.”
