Poster march organised
A POSTER march was organised on the Kanpur University campus to sensitise and mobilise the educated to work for the vulnerable sections of society like women, youth, children, adolescents and commercial sex workers and spread awareness about drug addiction, tobacco use and AIDS. Vice-Chancellor of CSJM University Prof SS Katiyar flagged off the march. Katiyar appreciated the efforts of the MSW students and faculty members who worked for a social cause .

Katiyar appreciated the efforts of the MSW students and faculty members who worked for a social cause. He said that social work gave the students an opportunity to serve the society, apart from providing a professional degree in the subject.
Liyaqat Ali, Abha, Neeraj, Ajay, Vipul, Shweta and many other final and previous year students seemed quite happy and excited while taking part in a march for such a cause.
Faculty members Shweta Malviya and Prashant Chauhan led the march.
Dr VN Sethi, in charge MSW Department, welcomed Dr Katiyar and gave the vote of thanks.
