Prahlad Patel injured in road mishap

Former Union Minister Prahlad Patel and his two security guards were injured in a road accident near village Kathotiya.

Former Union Minister Prahlad Patel and his two security guards were on Tuesday injured in a road accident near village Kathotiya.

Patel, a senior leader of the breakaway faction of Bharatiya Janshakti Party (BJSP), was injured when his jeep was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction, police said.

The leader, who sustained injuries to his ribs, was on his way to Jabalpur.

After the accident, Patel was rushed to a nearby nursing home from where he has been shifted to Jabalpur for treatment, police said.
