She told Worli Police, who visited her Thane residence on Saturday, that Pravin looked disturbed and was reeling under depression for the past few days, and added that he did not share problems with others.
She said that she did not suspect anything foul when Pravin left the house at 5:30 in the morning, as it was his usual time for a morning walk.
She, however, did not know that he had taken his car keys and his pistol along with him, sources added.
The police also combed Pravin's entire house in search of evidence that could suggest the reason behind the attack. However, they returned empty handed, they added.
Meanwhile, Pravin's lawyer Nandkumar Rajurkar has alleged that the police had ignored the statement by Sarangi that her husband was in a depressed state of mind.
