Expressing his views on the occasion, deputy director education Amarnath Verma appealed to the principals to implement the rules and regulations in true sense in their colleges. He said the education manual and the government order should be treated as a religious book by the principals of the college.
Verma said that the principals’ representatives who argued before education officials would not be disappointed. He asked the principal to allow the students to choose their subjects. He directed the principal not to enroll boys in girls’ schools within a circle of 4 km.
Deputy inspector of school (DIOS) Ramagya Kumar expressed his concern over charging illegal fee by principals of various colleges and said stringent action would be taken against such education officials. He quoted that inter colleges were charging computer fee from the students without providing them proper computer training.
Presiding over the meeting, he stressed the need of meeting and co-operation between education officials, teachers and principals for distribution of scholarship, Kanya Vidya Dhan and implementation of other government schemes. Principals of various inter colleges along with District Minorities Officer Gita Srivastava participated in this programme.
