The violators will be punished under Section 182 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The orders have been issued as a precautionary measure, so that the general public does not face any problem during the festive season. Festivals such as Navratra, Dussehra and Diwali are round the corner and people usually take out processions and yatras on roads, without obtaining permission from the administration.
