A scuffle between three brothers led to the murder of one of them at Singhpura village in Paonta Sahib subdivision on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Brijpal Singh.According to the police, the eldest of the three brothers, Mahipal, allegedly beat up his younger brother Brijpal Singh and Surinder Singh with sticks.
Brijpal died on the way to hospital, while Surinder sustained injuries in the incident.
DSP Narveer Rathore said Mahipal had been arrested and booked under Section 302 of the IPC.He added that preliminary investigations suggest that there was a property dispute among the brothers, which led to a scuffle.
