Majlis-e-Mushawarat (consultative committee) spokesman Mohammad Shafi Khan told reporters on Sunday, "We had set a deadline of June 29 for the government to identify the culprits or face intensified agitation. Since the government has failed, we have decided to intensify the agitation."

On June 23, it had asked the state government to identify and punish the culprits behind the incident within a week or face an intensified agitation.
