PURNAKRITI, AN organisation that conducts training in Indian culture for brides or engaged girls, will organise a training programme on its premises at 24/1, Race Course Road, on March 13.

Programme coordinator Sangeeta Choudhary said that the workshop would include subjects like how to manage household and other home management skills. She said that because of the hectic lifestyle today, parents are unable to inculcate proper traditions among children and that results in family problems.

Thus, the training programme has been designed to overcome this problem and includes all basic things that were expected from a bride. Training to wear sari, cooking, budgeting and how to make career after marriage, health and beauty tips, Indian festivals and information about the gynaec ailments would also be given at the workshop.

Subject experts would be invited to attend the programme. A skit and drama would also be staged on the occasion. Special classes for packing of marriage gifts, Indian and western dance spoken and English classes would also be organised at the programme.
