A General Knowledge Quiz contest was held at St Joseph’s Girls Convent School on Tuesday by the Oxford University Press, which is a department of the University of Oxford. The contest held at the St.Joseph’s Girls Convent School, Idgah Hills had students from classes IV to VI participating in it.
The six top qualifying teams were St. Mont Fort School, Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School (BHEL), Campion School, Delhi Public School, St. Joseph’s Convent School and Mithi Gobindram School. The quiz had interesting questions on english language, birds and animals, World and its People.
The team of Delhi Public School outshone other participating teams by emerging as winners with a lead of 50 points followed by the St. Joseph’s Convent School at second place while Campion School stood third.
Barry O’ Brien, the Quizmaster was immensely impressed by the quizzing talent of Bhopal City. School Principal Francis Joseph has distributed the prizes. Neeraj Sharma delivered the vote of thanks.
