Residents are facing water logging all over the area and their houses are flooded with rainwater. However, drainage water along with garbage has forced them to stay in the first floor of their houses. Residents are facing drinking water problems, as they are getting polluted water from their hand pumps. Since last one week, the residents were making regular visits to Municipal Corporation officials for drawing their attention towards their problems .

Residents are facing water logging all over the area and their houses are flooded with rainwater. However, drainage water along with garbage has forced them to stay in the first floor of their houses.
Residents are facing drinking water problems, as they are getting polluted water from their hand pumps. Since last one week, the residents were making regular visits to Municipal Corporation officials for drawing their attention towards their problems, but the corporation officials were not taking any action.
Resident of the area Shabbir, Afzal, Bismillah, Peshkar, Ramzan and others said they had lodged a complaints in Nagar Nigam in February this year, but corporation officials did not attend their complaints.
Heaps of garbage on both side of the roads is a common scene in the area.
Contrary to it municipal corporation officials claimed that the sanitation work in entire Humayunpur north were carried out on contract basis, but the ground reality tells another story.
Expressing his anguish, Shabbir Ahmad said no political parties’ leader came here to solve their problems. He said the matter was raised by the corporator of areas before the chief engineer of the Nagar Nigam, but not even estimate was made for drainage construction.
Rresident of the area Ramzan and Phunnan Khan said the apathetic attitude of the Municipal Corporation office have compounded their problems. They used to paid their house and water tax, but corporation officials failed to provide minimum civic amenities.
