Raj Thackeray visits Nashik jail to meet MNS activists

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray on Wednesday visited Nashik Central Jail to meet party workers who were arrested for disturbing a programme organised by north Indians on January 26 in Nashik, said jail superintendent Ashok Rane.

More than 20 MNS activists are in judicial custody after they were arrested for ransacking the pendal and tearing apart posters of martyrs in a cultural programme organised by north Indians in a municipal school here.

Raj Thackeray, who is on a tour here, went to meet his party activists in the jail.
