Rally against terror taken out

SEVERAL WOMEN of both Hindu and Muslim communities on Tuesday took out a ?Chunauti Yatra? and condemned the terrorist strike at religious places such as Sankat Mochan Temple and Jama Masjid (New Delhi).

SEVERAL WOMEN of both Hindu and Muslim communities on Tuesday took out a ‘Chunauti Yatra’ and condemned the terrorist strike at religious places such as Sankat Mochan Temple and Jama Masjid (New Delhi).

Divisional finance and accounts officer Harishachandra Srivastava flagged off the rally from Shashtri Nagar area, which after passing from Rathyatra, Bhelupur, Durgakund culminated at Sankat Mochan Temple. The procession was taken out under the banner of Vishal Bharat Sansthan.

Led by Najma Parveen, the women of Muslim community recited Hanuman Chalisa at the spot where bomb was exploded in Sankat Mochan Temple on March 7.

Najma Parveen and Nazneen Ansari said, members of both Hindu and Muslim communities respected all religions and therefore the terrorists would never succeed in their nefarious designs.

The processionists carried placards and banners depicting message such as ‘Atankvadio dunia chhodo’, ‘Jama Masjid, Sankat Mochan ka apman nahi sahega Hindustan’, ‘Muslim mahilao ne thana hain atankvad ko mitana hai’ and ‘Bachcha bachcha Hindustan ka, na Hindu ka na Musalman ka’.

President of Vishal Bharat Sansthan, Dr Rajeev Srivastava led the procession.

Shama Firdaus, Reshmina, Wahida Nusrat, Hina Kausar, Rubina, Farjana, Puja Singh, Archana Singh, Prabhavati Devi, Priya Srivastava and Anju Singh were among others who participated in the rally and condemned the terrorist strike on religious places.
