Team India needed to practise yoga which will help them get more relaxed and improve their performance, yoga guru Ramdev said today.

The yoga exponent said practising yoga would result in the team getting more consistent in its performances.

"If a batsman does well in a few matches and then is out on the first ball in the next match, it may be a case of stress and lapse in concentration," Ramdev said at a press conference here.

"Yoga will certainly help a batsman by making him more relaxed and yet more focussed," he said.

Ramdev said he was ready to impart yoga lessons to the Indian cricket team if the BCCI approached him for the purpose.
