Mumbai off-spinner Ramesh Powar will join India's one-day squad as the 16th member, an Indian team official said on Tuesday.

Powar, who is also handy with the bat, has been sent the SOS since offie Harbhajan Singh was nursing an injury to his bowling finger, Indian team manager Raj Singh Dungarpur said.
"Powar is expected to join the team by this evening and Harbhajan is also going to stay back," he said.
The burly bow was a part of the Indian squad during their tour in 2004, in the absence of an injured Harbhajan, and had played two ODIs.
The second one-dayer is slated to be played at Rawalpindi on Saturday.
