The aviation ministry has sought R2,000 crore for AI in the next financial year after getting a similar amount this year.
Ravi, talking to reporters on the sidelines of an aviation security conference, said he would be traveling to Mumbai later this week to meet AI unions. “I will patiently hear them out and seek their cooperation,” he said. Responding to a question on the troubled merger of AI, Ravi made it clear that there was “no rethink in the government on the merger.”
