District Election Officer P Ramakrishna Rao told reporters here tonight that repolling would held in 16 booths in Narasaraopet, Chilakaluripet, Vinukonda and Pedakurapadu assembly constituencies.

This include Rompicherla polling booth where Congress and TDP supporters hurled bombs at each other, he said.

Rao dismissed complaints of EVMs breaking down saying their handling led to some problems but they never broke down at any booths.
