The Election Commission has ordered re-polling in one booth each in Perinthalmanna and Nadapuram assembly constituencies, which went to polls on Saturday in the second phase of assembly elections in Kerala.
Re-polling will be held in booth No 109 in Perinthalmanna in Malappuram district and booth no 144 Nadapuram in Kozhikode district on May 2, the office of the Chief Electoral Officer said.
In the booth at Nadapuram re-polling was being held as the polling was disrupted for a while following a dispute over pasting of sticker on the poster of the UDF candidate.
In Perinthalmanna, there was EVM failure in the booth concerned.
Meanwhile, the turn out in Saturday's polling in 66 segments in six districts was put at 73.49 per cent.
