Film: Vaastu Shastra

If you want some chilling horror and shocks that keep you moving to the edge of your chair, this is the movie for you. Based on a simple story about a family that moves into a new home, Vaastu Shastra is still different in certain aspects. The director, Sourabh Usha Narang, has done admirable work for a debutant. The soundFX and the background score have been used very effectively. All actors have done justice to their roles specially master Ahsaas Channa – the four-year-old has done an excellent job. Sushmita Sen hasn’t used any makeup and she is beautiful as always. The makeup used for the rest of the cast closely resembles The Exorcist. The film is predictable at certain times and would remind you of Bhoot. For best results don’t go to the theatre alone. After effects may include you believing children for whatever they say.
