Rebels not to affect poll prospects: Gehlot

Allaying apprehensions that rebels would affect the Congress' poll prospects in the Rajasthan Assembly polls, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Friday his party would romp home with more than 153 of the 200 seats it holds in the present legislature.

Commenting on the impact that 69 rebels would have on Congress in the December one polls, Gehlot admitted that there could be some resentment over distribution of tickets but the electorate would understand and still vote for the party.
