A revenue officer was arrested by vigilance officials for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A revenue officer was arrested by vigilance officials for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000 in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Tehsildar of Chadoora area Mohammad Akram was arrested at his residence yesterday on a complaint filed by Tasaduq Hussain Bhat, state Vigilance Department spokesman said today.

Bhat had alleged in his complaint that Akram was demanding a sum of Rs 20,000 to settle a dispute between his father and uncle.
Akram has been taken into custody and a case has been registered against him, he said.
