The SP leader had earlier skipped the meeting of the committee set up to select the CIC on the ground that he had not been provided with the shortlisted names for the post.
Speaking to mediapersons here, he said the government has again selected a controversial officer for the post and the Governor should review the appointment by evaluating his service book.
Yadav, who had earlier submitted a memorandum to the Governor saying that his view as member of the committee was vital and appointment without it should be considered as unconstitutional, said that Pankaj should not be administered the oath as CIC till a thorough probe.
Yadav also levelled charges of corruption against Pankaj, who is presently Secretary Mining, and is expected to resign from service before taking over as CIC. He is due to retire in October.
