RS Gavai appointed Governor of Bihar

Republican Party of India leader RS Gavai has been appointed Governor of Bihar, it was officially announced on Thursday.
The appointment made by President APJ Abdul Kalam would take effect from the date he assumes charge, a Rashtrapati Bhavan communiqué said.
