RSS leaders discuss agenda for meeting

THE TOP brass of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS), including Sarsanghchalak KC Sudarshan remained busy for the second consecutive day, discussing the agenda for its all India national executive committee scheduled to begin here on October 13.

The three-day brainstorming session of the Sangh executive committee members, sources said, would focus on many issues confronting the nation.

Though about 350 members across the country are expected to participate in the meeting here, some top RSS leaders including Sarsanghchalak KC Sudarshan, Mohan Rao Bhagwat, Madan Das Devi, Suresh Joshi, Suresh Soni, Suresh Rao Ketkar, Laximan Rao, KC Kannan, Indresh Kumar etc have already arrived in the city and some of them also participated in today’s closed-door meeting.

Sources said Sudershan is also expected to address an open meeting called as `Virat Hindu Sangam’ in the evening of October 15.

Earlier, similar meeting was held in Varanasi in 1999.
