SAD-Badal leader dies in road accident in Ludhiana

Kulwant Singh Ranike, a Shiromani Akali Dal Badal (SAD) leader and media advisor of the party candidate to Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat Sharanjit Singh Dhill, died in a road accident in Ludhiana early on Friday morning, police said.
Ranike was returning home in his car after finalising arrangements on the site where Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is scheduled to address an election rally on Friday.
As he was returning home, his car hit the central verge on the road near Cheema Chowk and got overturned. He was the only occupant in the Car. According to police he died on the spot.
