The local teen beat the Indian tennis ace 6-4, 6-2 in the second round on Thursday in Paris.
Mirza had earlier pulled off a remarkable victory in round one where she defeated sixth seed Italian Flavia Pennetta of the $600,000 WTA Open late on Tuesday.
The Hyderabadi, who also crashed out of the second round at Australian Open last month, still has a chance in the doubles event where she, along with her South African partner Liezel Huber, had already advanced to the second round.
