Sarwan was on two when he was hit on the right elbow by a rising delivery from Rana Naved-ul-Hasan.

He was taken to hospital for X-rays to determine the extent of the damage and returned to the ground with his arm in a sling.

A spokesman for the West Indies team said the elbow was badly bruised but there were no fractures.

The West Indies went on to make a ground-record 339 for four in the match.
