SBI officers hold demo

The union demanded that while retiring, an employee should be given 50% of the last basic salary as pension. The union leaders said it is the duty of the bank to look after the financial security of its pensioners.
Association general secretary Ravi Bilgaiyyan said if SBI management failed to redress the issue, the employees and officials of SBI would go on a nationwide strike on April 3 and a delegation of both the associations would meet the Union Finance Minister to hand over a memorandum in this regard.
