SBI customers have been hit the hardest by an indefinite strike launched by the bank's employees.

SBI, the country's largest commercial bank, has bilateral arrangements with HDFC Bank, UTI Bank, IndusInd Bank, Corporation Bank, Indian Bank, Andhra Bank, Dena Bank, UCO Bank and Punjab National Bank.

"The usual charges otherwise levied under the bilateral arrangements...Shall be waived/refunded for the transactions made during the period of the strike," SBI said in a statement.

In normal cases, SBI customers using other banks' ATM facility need to pay a certain amount as service charge. The bank has a network of 5,000 ATMs.
