A Bench of Justice Arijit Pasayat and Justice LS Panta said it would like to hear the DERC's plea along with its appeal against an order of the Appellate Tribunal for electricity in this regard.

Appearing for DERC, senior counsel KK Venugopal said the revised tariff for the current year has already been prepared and would be announced if the Court allowed.

However, the Court said it would hear the matter finally on July 25.

The Bench also said that any subsidy announced by the Delhi government would be subject to final outcome of the petition.
