Pushkar, was found dead in bed in her suite on Friday night, two days after she went public on Twitter with accusations of a "rip-roaring affair" between her husband and Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar.

The SDM also wants the police to find out if it is a case of abetment of suicide and cited a strained relationship between the minister and his wife, CNN IBN news channel said.

The channel also quoted sources saying that the SDM has not given a clean chit to Tharoor.

The three-member AIIMS panel charged with carrying out the autopsy of Sunanda had submitted its preliminary report to the SDM on Monday.

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences forensic experts claimed it was for the police to ascertain the cause of death and did not reveal the cause of Pushkar's death.

The report was submitted to Vasant Vihar SDM Alok Sharma around 6.30pm.
